Rayzam is not depressed.


KUALA LUMPUR MAY 9,2018 : Malaysia's national athlete Rayzam Shah Wan Sofian does not want to put himself in the pressure ahead of the Malaysian Open at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium from Friday to Sunday.

Rayzam said he only wants to enjoy the run and rivals as well as not wanting to be guilty of injury.

"I just want to enjoy the run, so do not put any targets. There is no pressure for me at the Malaysian Open.

"But I hope to run under 14 seconds," said a 110 meter (m) gold winner at the SEA Games 2017 Kuala Lumpur when contacted.

The event's 100m hurdles event at the Malaysian Open is scheduled to take place on Saturday night.

Although the third Malaysian Open tournament was participated this year after the Commonwealth Games, Gold Coast, Rayzam admitted he still failed to find confidence.

So Rayzam hopes to find a rhythm in training and competition in Germany starting next week which is expected to end in July.

Rayzam's best performance this season is 14.01 which was created in the pre-Sport Asia competition in Indonesia, last February.

Rayzam's best player was 13.67s created at the Kurpfalz Gala Sport Tournament in Weinheim, Germany on May 27, 2017, marking the national record of Nur Herman Majid, 13.73s.
