HAKIMI CHOSEN AS FLAG BEARER OF THE COMMONWEALTH GAMES GOLD COAST. PUTRAJAYA, March 27, 2018 - A significant improvement in the performance of the country's skipper, Muhammad Hakimi Ismail, has become an important criterion for his election as the flagship carrier of the Malaysian contingent at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. Youth and Sports Minister YB Brig Jen Khairy Jamaluddin said Hakimi had shown his decisive move to the Gold Coast despite struggling with injuries earlier. KUALA LUMPUR: The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) president Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim once again sparked a question with a recent posting on '7 days' again on his Facebook account, Johor Southern Tigers (JST) yesterday. The statement made fans of Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) club and local football flood in the comments room with their respective bits. Some think the '7 days' mean that it was a mere one-year period of Tunku Ismail being the FAM President after being appointed in the 53rd FAM Congress on March 25. Some say, 'The other seven days' means the last day of the Tunku Mahkota Johor (TMJ) being the FAM president to fulfill his wish to resign.
