KUALA LUMPUR, April 24, 2018: There is nothing else to play in the mind of state sprint Jonathan Nyepa at this point apart from increasing the speed of running in the event 100 meters (m) and 200m, this season.
He also aims to be the best runner among three teammates - Khairul Hafiz Males, Nixson Kennedy and Badrul Hisham Abdul Manap.
"What I want this year to break my best personal post in the 100m and 200m events, no matter what the tournament is," Jonathan said.
"At the same time I should always be consistent with the time, and I always try to be the best."
Jonathan helped Khairul Hafiz, Nixson and Badrul Hisyam go to the final at the Commonwealth Games, Gold Coast, Australia recently.
Jonathan's personal note in the 100m sprint event was 10.28s created in the Korean Open, last year.
While in the 200m event, he recorded 21.18s in the 2016 Malaysian Open Sport Championship.
